West Point-Beemer 2-1 in last three matches

The West Point-Beemer Cadets are 2-1 in their last three matches, having knocked off Norfolk Catholic 3-0 at home last Thursday, and Douglas County West 2-0 on Tuesday before losing 2-0 to Oakland-Craig, also on Tuesday at the Douglas County West Triangular.

West Point-Beemer defeated Norfolk Catholic 25-18 in set one, 27-25 in set two, and 25-22 in set three.

The Cadets lost 25-16 in set one to Oakland-Craig, and dropped set two 25-21.

West Point-Beemer won set one over the Falcons 25-15 and took set two 28-26.

The Cadets have gotten back on track and played pretty decent volleyball as of late. The Norfolk Catholic win was big, and West Point-Beemer did a good job of taking care of Douglas County West in two sets, and not allowing the match to go a third set.

The Cadets (8-8) participate in the Wisner-Pilger October Classic on Saturday.

West Point-Beemer will no doubt see tough competition, especially if they play the host Gators.

The Cadets have to come out fired up and ready to play in every match.

West Point-Beemer has played decent up to this point in the week, and so now it's time to put things together and have a good showing in this tournament.

Amanda Hansen, Jade Duhsmann, Taylor Weddle, and Makenna Weddle, in addition to other players, need to step up and perform well for the Cadets.

West Point-Beemer has played just about everyone on their schedule tough, and I look for the Cadets to give teams all they can handle this weekend as well.

I think West Point-Beemer is going to come out and play good volleyball from start to finish. I would be surprised if the Cadets struggled in any of their matches given the way they've played the last week or so.

I could see West Point-Beemer getting swept 2-0 by Wisner-Pilger and maybe another team or two, but I look for the sets to be competitive.

The Cadets played the Gators tough the first time around, and I suspect West Point-Beemer could give Wisner-Pilger a tough time again this time around.

The Cadets have to be fired up to play, and have to want to be at this tournament. West Point-Beemer has to be excited to play the game of volleyball, and it must show in their play.
