Tekamah-Herman 4-2 in last six matches

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers are 4-2 in their last six matches, losing 2-0 to Stanton, but beating Bancroft-Rosalie 2-0 on Thursday in the East Husker Conference Tournament. Tekamah-Herman fell 2-0 to Wisner-Pilger on Saturday in the tournament, but beat Oakland-Craig 2-1. The Tigers downed Fremont Bergan and Scribner-Snyder 2-0 on Tuesday at the Scribner-Snyder Triangular.

Tekamah-Herman downed the Panthers 25-11 in set one and 25-12 in set two.

The Tigers lost set one to the Mustangs 25-22, and dropped set two 25-5.

Tekamah-Herman dropped set one to Oakland-Craig 25-20, but won sets two and three 25-23 and 25-17.

The Tigers lost set one to the Gators 25-22, and fell 25-14 in set two.

Tekamah-Herman beat the Trojans 25-16 in set one, and 25-9 in set two.

The Tigers took set one from Fremont Bergan 25-14, and won set two 25-22.

Tekamah-Herman has played some good volleyball as of late. The Tigers are peaking at the right time.

Tekamah-Herman (15-12) battles Howells-Dodge (18-8) on the road Thursday.

The Jaguars are coming off a 3-2 home win over North Bend Central on Tuesday.

Howells-Dodge has certainly played well at home and is a tough team, but the Tigers have to believe they can go in there and get the job done.

Both teams have knocked off Oakland-Craig, and I think this match is pretty evenly matched.

Tekamah-Herman hopes the Jaguars are hung up over the win over North Bend Central, and that could certainly be the case on Thursday.

It took a lot out of Howells-Dodge to beat North Bend Central, and getting up for a match with Tekamah-Herman won't be the easiest thing to do.

The Tigers have to play optimistic volleyball on Thursday, and believe they can win.

Tekamah-Herman is doing their best to make a push here at the end of the regular season, and if the Tigers could get a win over the Jaguars, it would be a big deal.

This is a huge match in terms of gaining momentum for the postseason. You want to be playing your best volleyball at the end of the season, and that certainly appears to be what these two teams are doing.

That should make for a very entertaining match on Thursday. I wouldn't be surprised if this match went four, maybe even five sets.

I feel these two teams are fairly evenly matched, and will get after one another.
