Tekamah-Herman loses to North Bend Central and Wisner-Pilger

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers have lost their last two matches as they fell 3-0 at North Bend Central on Thursday and 3-0 at Wisner-Pilger on Tuesday of this week.

Tekamah-Herman fell 25-23 in set one to North Bend Central. Tekamah-Herman dropped set two 25-21 before losing set three 25-22.

The Tigers lost set one to the Gators 25-15, dropped set two 25-20, and fell 25-13 in set three.

Tekamah-Herman simply ran into tough competition in North Bend Central and Wisner-Pilger. Those two teams are two of the better teams Tekamah-Herman will see this season.

The Tigers (11-10) take on Bancroft-Rosalie (10-13) on Thursday in Stanton in the East Husker Conference Tournament.

The Panthers have lost four in a row, including a 3-1 decision at Pender on Monday.

This is a battle between two teams who have run into tough points in their season, and are looking to get back on track.

It's an 8/9 seed match up so certainly anything can happen.

This should be a really interesting battle between two fairly evenly matched teams.

I give Tekamah-Herman the advantage being a C-1 school, but I'm willing to bet Bancroft-Rosalie can hold their own.

It has been a pretty respectable season so far for the Tigers, but now it's time for Tekamah-Herman to step things up and take that next step.

The Tigers are certainly capable of beating anyone they play, and the Panthers are no exception.

The winner gets the winner of Stanton and Logan View so the opportunity to play the Mustangs again has to excite and motivate Tekamah-Herman.

I look for the Tigers to have a good showing in this tournament. I could see Tekamah-Herman pulling an upset or two if they play up to their capability.

It will be interesting to see if the Tigers can make some noise in this tournament.
