Logan View competes in East Husker Conference Tournament
The Logan View Raiders took part in last week's East Husker Conference Tournament, losing 2-0 to Stanton and Bancroft-Rosalie on Thursday, and falling 2-0 to Pender on Saturday.
The Mustangs defeated Logan View 25-13 in set one and 25-9 in set two.
The Panthers took set one from the Raiders 25-16, and won set two 25-13.
The Pendragons beat Logan View 25-10 in sets one and two.
It is unknown how the Raiders fared in their other Saturday match against Madison.
Logan View battles Wisner-Pilger (22-6) and Scribner-Snyder (3-23) on Thursday at the Wisner-Pilger Triangular.
The Gators swept Twin River 3-0 on Tuesday while the Trojans lost 2-0 to Tekamah-Herman and Fremont Bergan on Tuesday.
Wisner-Pilger is going to be very tough, but Scribner-Snyder is definitely beatable.
The match with the Trojans is a meeting between two schools that have really struggled this season.
I think the Scribner-Snyder match will definitely go three, and I feel like the Raiders have a fairly decent chance to come away with a win.
Logan View has to forget about how they've performed lately, and step up and play well on Thursday.
The Raiders only have a couple of matches left after this, and they are against Stanton and North Bend Central, so this could very well be Logan View's last chance to pick up a regular season win.
The Raiders need to play well against both squads to build for sub districts. The postseason is only a couple of weeks away, and Logan View wants to be playing their best volleyball of the season come sub district time.
A win over Scribner-Snyder would certainly help the Raiders' confidence.
