Scribner-Snyder 0-4 in last four matches
The Scribner-Snyder Trojans are 0-4 in their last four matches as they have lost to Pender, Mead, West Point-Beemer, and Stanton.
Scribner-Snyder lost 3-0 to the Pendragons last Monday, falling 25-10 in set one, 25-16 in set two, and 26-24 in set three.
Mackenzy Schreck had 8 kills while Kaylee Boyle and Nicole Boyle totaled 8 and 7 digs, respectively. Michaun Stucky registered 11 set assists.
The Raiders swept the Trojans 3-0 in Mead on Thursday, winning set one 25-10, set two 25-17, and set three 25-16.
Kaylee Boyle led the way with 15 digs while Schreck and Stucky had 7 each.
Scribner-Snyder fell 2-0 to the Cadets at the Stanton Triangular on Tuesday, losing set one 25-23, and set two 25-16.
Kaylee Boyle and Savanah Miller totaled 10 digs apiece while Nicole Boyle dished out 8 set assists.
The host Mustangs also swept the Trojans 2-0 on Tuesday, taking set one 25-10, and set two 25-12.
Nicole Boyle finished with 8 set assists.
It has been a real struggle for Scribner-Snyder this season. The Trojans just can't get anything going for whatever reason.
Scribner-Snyder (2-18) battles Wisner-Pilger (18-5) on Thursday in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament in Wisner.
The Gators swept Tekamah-Herman 3-0 at home on Tuesday.
Wisner-Pilger has certainly played good volleyball all season, the complete opposite of the Trojans.
Scribner-Snyder has the potential to get things turned around though, in my opinion, and it all begins in this tournament.
You want to be playing your best volleyball at the end of the season, and the Trojans have some very winnable matches coming up.
There's still a lot of season left for this squad, and I think Scribner-Snyder has an opportunity to make a little run here at the end of the season.
I'm not saying the Trojans are going to beat the Gators, but Scribner-Snyder might have a chance at picking up a win or two in this tournament.
Anything can happen, and the Trojans have to believe that and raise their level of play. Scribner-Snyder needs to crank up the intensity and find a way to play better to have success here at the end of the regular season.
