The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots have played decent volleyball as of late, going 3-3 in their last six matches.

The Patriots have been very up and down lately. There are matches when Clarkson/Leigh is on and matches when they are off.

The Patriots (8-11) take part in the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family Invite on Saturday.

Clarkson/Leigh will see Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family again, a team the Patriots lost to 2-1 on September 17th.

As Clarkson/Leigh showed in that match, they are capable of competing with Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family has been on a roll lately, but that doesn't mean the Patriots can't beat them.

It's a matter of Clarkson/Leigh becoming more consistent and playing at a high level.

The Patriots need to play well in this tournament to build momentum for the East Husker Conference Tournament.

It's starting to get down to crunch time, and Clarkson/Leigh needs to be on top of their game if they want to be playing their best volleyball at the end of the season.

The Patriots need to start figuring some things out in terms of finding a way to win tough matches.

Clarkson/Leigh has yet to pick up that signature win this season, that season defining win.

Perhaps the Patriots can get the job done on Saturday, and take steps in the right direction to making a run here at the end of the season.

I think Clarkson/Leigh has it in them to create some late season magic, but the opportunities to make a run are lessening with each passing week.
