Oakland-Craig sweeps Pender
The Oakland-Craig Knights won 3-0 at home over Pender on Thursday.
Oakland-Craig took set one 25-14, set two 25-10, and set three 25-8.
It was a good win for the Knights, who won their final home match of the season.
Oakland-Craig (22-7) travels to Wisner on Tuesday to battle Wisner-Pilger (24-6) in the regular season finale for both teams.
The Gators swept Logan View and Scribner-Snyder 2-0 at their home triangular on Thursday.
This is a preview of an all but official match in sub districts.
This match is important for both teams, but sub districts is when it really matters.
If you're the Knights you may not want to show everything on Tuesday
Granted the Gators probably know them well by now, but Oakland-Craig could have a few tricks up their sleeve come sub district time.
A win over Wisner-Pilger would definitely give the Knights the confidence to go out and beat them a second time.
It will be awfully difficult for the same team to win twice, however, in my opinion.
It can be done, but whoever loses Tuesday could very well end up winning when it matters.
Oakland-Craig needs to go all out in this match and put forth their best effort, but at the same time the Knights need to conserve some energy and save themselves for sub districts.
Tuesday's match can be heard on 107.9 the Bull beginning at 7:15 p.m.
