For GACC to go into Omaha and beat four Class A schools and a Class B school really says a lot about this team. The Bluejays are definitely a state title contender, and should be a force to be reckoned with come the postseason.
GACC (23-1) hosts Norfolk Catholic (9-13) on Tuesday.
The Knights beat O'Neill 3-0 at home on Thursday after losing 3-0 at home to Bishop Neumann on Tuesday of last week.
Norfolk Catholic definitely shouldn't be taken lightly, but the Bluejays appear to be in fine shape heading into this match.
You have to wonder if GACC will be gassed at all given the fact they played so many matches last week, but I don't look for that to be the case.
I think the Bluejays will come out and handle their business, and a earn a sweep.
This is GACC's only match of the week so the Bluejays can rest and heal up after this match.
It's also the final home match for the Bluejays this season. And I'm sure GACC would love to win their final match at home, especially for the seniors.
There are quite a few seniors on this team, and I'm sure the Bluejays would love to receive some gold medals at the end of this season.
GACC is certainly capable of going all the way, but they have to take things one match at a time.
