West Point-Beemer swept by Norfolk Catholic

The West Point-Beemer Volleyball Team was swept 3-0 at home by Norfolk Catholic Thursday night.

The Knights won set one 25-15, set two 25-13, and set three 25-21.

Sidney Swanson and Diana Cervantes each had 11 digs while Jadyn Meiergerd totaled 8. Katie Rainforth added 9 set assists.

Norfolk Catholic showed why they're as good as they are.

The Cadets (8-15) host DC West (12-6) and Oakland-Craig (14-7) in a Triangular Tuesday night.

The Falcons defeated Omaha Christian Academy and Boys Town 2-0 at the Douglas County West Triangular this past Tuesday night.

Oakland-Craig went 2-1 at the Clarkson/Leigh Invite on Saturday.

Both the Knights and Falcons are good and are playing superb Volleyball right now.

West Point-Beemer has their hands full and work cut out for them there's no doubt about that.

The Cadets need to come out and play well and hit the ball with authority.

West Point-Beemer has to step up their game and come out and play well.

These are the final matches for the Cadets before the East Husker Conference Tournament next week.

West Point-Beemer needs to come out and play well Tuesday, and find something positive to build off of heading into the Conference Tournament.

The Cadets are just 3-7 in their last 10 matches and need to pick things up.

West Point-Beemer doesn't have many quality wins so far this year, and needs to find a way to pick up a couple Tuesday night.

The Cadets could really use a win or two heading into the Conference Tournament.

West Point-Beemer has to find a way to play at a higher level than they have been lately though.

The Cadets have really struggled lately, but are capable of turning things around by season's end, in my opinion.

West Point-Beemer just has to make the necessary adjustments to beat some of the tougher teams on their schedule.

I'm not sure if that means hitting the ball harder and more efficient, better passing, better blocking, better serve receiving, or better serving, but the Cadets have to find a way to improve.

Time is running out on West Point-Beemer and their chance to do something and make some noise this season.

It's time for the Cadets to play well Tuesday night.

West Point-Beemer is definitely capable of doing it too they just need to come out and play great and clean matches.
