The Jaguars (12-5) take part in the Clarkson/Leigh Invite on Saturday.
Other teams in the tournament include the host Patriots, Oakland-Craig, Cross County, and David City Aquinas.
Lots of good and tough competition in this tournament.
Howells-Dodge has struggled against good, quality, top competition, but now is their chance to right the ship.
The Jaguars need to come ready to play well in this tournament against whoever they face.
Howells-Dodge has shown signs that they can hang with and beat the top teams on their schedule, but hasn't quite been able to get over the hump.
The Jaguars have kept a set close in each of their last three "tough" matches, but haven't quite been able to come through in the clutch.
Perhaps taking one of those sets numerous times on Saturday will go a long ways for Howells-Dodge.
I look for the Jaguars to come out and play inspired on Saturday.
This tournament has a chance to head south for Howells-Dodge, but I think the Jaguars can definitely do well in this tournament too.
Howells-Dodge has to get things turned around this weekend to get back on track.
The Jaguars hadn't faced a whole lot of tough competition up to this point in the season, and so to their defense maybe weren't really ready or equipped to take down those teams.
Well, now they are.
Howells-Dodge has seen and faced some very good teams now so they should know what to expect and what's expected of them on Saturday.
The Jaguars have to strive for excellence, and go out there and play great on Saturday.
Howells-Dodge can definitely do it too, they just have to get fired up and believe in one another.
The Jaguars have to wake up ready to dominate and achieve greatness.
Howells-Dodge has to dream big and find what fuels them within.
