Logan View/Scribner-Snyder falls to Oakland-Craig and Fremont Bergan at Oakland-Craig Triangular

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team lost 2-0 to Fremont Bergan and Oakland-Craig at the Oakland-Craig Triangular Tuesday night.

The Raiders lost set one 25-12 and set two 25-21 to Bergan.

O-C took set one 25-20 and set two 25-23.

Emily Lewin had 9 digs while Reagan Klein totaled 13 set assists.

Good job by LVSS competing hard and well for the most part, but frustrating to drop both matches no doubt.

The Raiders (12-12) take on BRLD (15-11) in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament at North Bend Central Thursday night at 5:30.

The Wolverines stunned and upset North Bend Central 3-2 at home Tuesday night.

That coming on the heels of a Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 3-1 home win over BRLD.

It's always tough to beat a team twice in a season though, and the Wolverines certainly seem to have all the momentum on their side right now having upset the Tigers and the fact that the Raiders lost twice on Tuesday.

I could very well see things going the other way on Thursday compared to the first time these two teams met, but I could also see LVSS winning as well.

It figures to be a good and interesting match that can go either way.

I feel the Raiders are a team that is capable of doing some damage in this tournament.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had a couple of tough losses on Tuesday, but I fully expect the Raiders to come ready to play and play well on Thursday.

The loser of the match will be going home early as they would get a bye.

That means LVSS has to do everything in their power to make sure they're the team that gets a second match and crack at North Bend Central.

The Raiders ought to be encouraged and confident about their chances on Thursday given what they did to BRLD a little over a week ago and what the Wolverines did to the Tigers Tuesday night.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to come out pumped, amped, and fired up and ready to go Thursday night.

I fully expect the Raiders to come out and play at a high level on Thursday.

North Bend Central's loss to BRLD makes you wonder if the Wolverines or Raiders will be the team that wins two matches on Thursday.

It could definitely happen so we'll see how things play out.

If there's ever a year for their to be upsets this is it as I don't feel there's a ton of difference between the top teams all the way through the 10 seed.

I feel any of the top 9 or 10 teams could win this tournament.
