BRLD 5-0 in last five matches

The BRLD Volleyball Team is 5-0 in their last five matches, sweeping Emerson-Hubbard and Winnebago 2-0 at their home Triangular Thursday night, winning 3-0 at home over Omaha Nation Monday night, and winning 2-0 over Madison and Howells-Dodge at the Wisner-Pilger Double Triangular Tuesday night.

The Wolverines downed the Pirates 25-5 in set one and 25-7 in set two.

BRLD topped the Indians 25-4 in set one and 25-5 in set two.

The Wolverines won set one over the Chiefs 25-8, took set two 25-16, and won set three 25-10.

BRLD downed the Jaguars 25-13 in set one and 29-27 in set two.

The Wolverines owned the Dragons 25-7 in set one and 25-14 in set two.

What a great stretch of matches for BRLD. Some really good wins over the last week or so.

The Wolverines (14-9) host Oakland-Craig (11-6) Thursday night.

The Knights swept Stanton and Tekamah-Herman 2-0 at their home Triangular Tuesday night.

This is a match between two teams who are really playing well right now.

Upstart BRLD has won 5 in a row while Oakland-Craig has picked up four consecutive wins.

So something has to give in this match.

It should be a heck of a battle as there are a lot of good matches in the area Thursday night.

The Wolverines have to play the way they have in their last five matches, and come out and dominate.

If BRLD plays the way they did against the Jaguars they are going to beat a lot of teams.

That was a very big and impressive win for the Wolverines without a doubt. BRLD really stepped things up in that match.

Now the Wolverines have to find a way to knock off a top, tough team, and what I consider to be a rival.

BRLD can definitely do it too, but they need great play at the net from the likes of Megan Beutler.

The Wolverines have started to put things together the past 5 matches or so, and I look for BRLD to play well once again Thursday night.

I feel the match could go either way and don't really want to predict who I think who is going to win because often times I get the number of sets and/or predicted winners wrong.

The Wolverines just have to come out and play ball and not worry about any hype surrounding this one.

BRLD just has to play their game and focus on the task at hand and tune everything else out.

It has to be the girls and coaches in the locker room communicating and on the same page as one another and believing.

The parents and fans have to rally and get behind these girls as well.

Fans from all four communities should flock to the gym to support this team.

The Wolverines are having a solid season, and are starting to peak and play their best Volleyball of the season, in my opinion.
