Tekamah-Herman splits Home Triangular with Oakland-Craig and Stanton

The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team lost 2-1 to Oakland-Craig, but beat Stanton 2-0 at their Home Triangular Tuesday night.

The Tigers won 25-23 in set one and 25-12 in set two over the Mustangs.

Tekamah-Herman won set one over the Mustangs 25-17 before losing sets two and three 25-17.

I thought the Tigers were very competitive in this Triangular.

Tekamah-Herman (5-12) takes on Nebraska City (5-7) at the Raymond Central Invite on Saturday.

The Pioneers lost 3-1 at Platteview Tuesday night.

I think the Tigers have a chance to be very competitive in this one.

I look for Tekamah-Herman to do and perform well, and play a great match.

The winner gets York or Crete at 10:00 a.m., and there would be a third match for the Tigers if they win their first match.

The match with Nebraska City begins at 8:00 a.m., and so Tekamah-Herman has to be ready to go from the get go.

I look for the Tigers to be very competitive in this tournament and do well.

I think it will be a good and successful day of Volleyball for Tekamah-Herman.
