Tri County Northeast 5-2 in last 7 matches

The Tri County Northeast Volleyball Team won 2-1 over Winside and 2-0 over Hartington-Newcastle at their home Triangular last Tuesday night before winning 3-1 at home over Wakefield last Thursday night. The Wolfpack then beat Homer and Winnebago 2-0 at the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament at Emerson-Hubbard on Saturday before falling 2-0 to Wynot and 2-1 to Wausa in Ponca Monday night.

Tri County Northeast defeated Hartington-Newcastle 25-23 in set one and 25-15 in set two.

Jordyn Carr had 10 kills and 12 digs while Alli Jackson tallied 10 kills. Carly Dickens added 22 assists.

The Wolfpack took set one from Winside 25-17, lost set two 25-22, and won set three 25-23.

Jackson finished with 19 kills while Carr had 16 kills and 11 digs. Dickens compiled 35 assists.

The Trojans won set one 25-23 before Tri County Northeast won set two 25-18, set three 25-15, and set four 25-17.

Jackson had 25 kills and 7 digs while Carr notched 17 kills and 15 digs. Rhyanne Mackling and Jazmin Delatorre each had 8 digs while Dickens registered 42 assists.

The Wolfpack topped the Indians 25-14 in set one and 25-12 in set two.

Carr had 9 kills while Dickens totaled 15 assists.

Tri County Northeast beat the Knights 25-12 in set one and 25-21 in set two.

Carr recorded 11 kills while Dickens dished out 16 assists.

The Blue Devils won set one 25-17 and set two 25-18.

The Wolfpack took set one from the Vikings 25-23 before losing set two 25-16 and set three 25-17.

Really good play from Tri County Northeast leading up to Monday.

The Wolfpack (11-15) rematches with Wausa (13-9) at the D1-3 Sub-District at Humphrey Monday night.

The Vikings lost 2-0 to Ponca in their other match Monday night.

I feel like Tri County Northeast has an opportunity to beat Wausa this time around and win the Sub-District.

There is no real clear cut favorite in this Sub-District so I feel like the Wolfpack have a chance to win it.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family has the home court advantage, but that shouldn't phase Tri County Northeast should the two teams meet up in the Sub-District Final.

The Wolfpack needs Jackson and Carr to both go off Monday night.

Both these girls have to take control of the match and dominate for Tri County Northeast.

Both are upperclassmen and have to lead the Wolfpack.

Both have to lead with their play on the court and in their communication with their teammates.

Tri County Northeast can definitely get this one Monday night so the Wolfpack has to pour everything they've got into this match and find a way to win.

It's do or die time for Tri County Northeast. It's win or go home time for the Wolfpack.

First serve is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
