Tri County Northeast 1-2 in last three matches

The Tri County Northeast Volleyball Team lost 2-1 to Pender and 2-0 to Neligh/Oakdale at the Neligh-Oakdale Triangular Thursday night before sweeping Cedar Bluffs 3-0 at home on Saturday.

The Warriors won set one 25-16 and set two 25-18.

Alli Jackson had 9 kills while Jordyn Carr posted 7. Carly Dickens added 14 assists.

The Pendragons won set one 25-19 and set three 25-14 after the Wolfpack won set two 25-17,

Jackson had 13 kills while Carr totaled 7. Dickens registered 18 assists.

Tri County Northeast took set one from the Wildcats 25-15, set two 25-20, and set three 25-14.

Jackson and Carr each had 11 kills while Dickens registered 26 assists.

I thought the Wolfpack played well against both Pender and Cedar Bluffs.

Tri County Northeast (3-9) takes on Walthill (2-7) and Wynot (8-0) at the Wynot Triangular Tuesday night.

The Blujays have been off since September 22nd due to COVID while the Blue Devils are in the same boat, having been off since September 17th.

Right now, nothing says this Triangular isn't on so it looks like these two schools are going to resume play.

I look for the Wolfpack to beat Walthill and compete well with Wynot.

Both opponents could come out a little sluggish having not played in a while, and I feel that is an advantage for Tri County Northeast.

I look for the Wolfpack to be very competitive in this Triangular and hold their own.

Tri County Northeast has shown in their last couple of matches that they're a better team than their record would indicate.

I feel the Wolfpack is a team on the rise, and will be a threat to look out for come Conference Tournament and Sub-District time.

For now though Tri County Northeast has to focus on Walthill and Wynot, and beating and competing well and hard against both of them.
