The Clarkson/Leigh Volleyball Team swept Humphrey St. Francis 3-0 at home last Thursday night before going 1-2 at the Wisner-Pilger Invite on Saturday, losing 2-0 to O'Neill and St. Paul before beating the host Gators 2-1. The Patriots were then upset 2-0 by Pender at home in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament Thursday night.
Clarkson/Leigh took set one from the Flyers 25-20, won set two 25-16, and claimed set three 25-19.

The Gators took set one 25-22 before the Patriots won sets two and three 25-21.

The Wildcats claimed the opening set 25-19 and set two 25-15.

The Pendragons won set one 25-23 and set two 25-20.
Hoffman totaled 13 kills while Hanel had 9. Kasik and Bailey Lemburg added 9 and 7 digs, respectively. Held posted 24 assists.
Good play from Clarkson/Leigh, but credit Pender for the upset.
The Patriots (18-5) take on Oakland-Craig (18-6) and BRLD (17-10) in consolation action on Day Two of the EHC Tournament at Stanton Saturday morning starting at 9:15.
The Knights were upset 2-1 by North Bend Central Thursday night while the Wolverines fell 2-0 to West Point-Beemer.
All three of these teams are really good, and could easily be in the Semifinals.
Oakland-Craig has had trouble finishing their last two matches and the Wolverines just beat North Bend Central 3-1 Tuesday night before falling to the Cadets.
So each of these three matches could really go either way come Saturday morning.
I think the team that is most energized and wants to be there will do the best.
I think the Patriots will have an easier time shaking off their loss on Thursday than the Knights and Wolverines will.
I think BRLD will bounce back well too, and Oakland-Craig could as well, but I could see Clarkson/Leigh doing well on Saturday.
We'll see what happens for sure, but if the Patriots come ready to play and play like they did against the Flyers then they should put themselves in a good position to win.
Clarkson/Leigh has to put the Pender loss behind them and regroup and come out and play well on Saturday.
