Logan View/Scribner-Snyder falls to Wisner-Pilger and Fort Calhoun to end regular season

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team lost 2-0 to Wisner-Pilger and Fort Calhoun at the Fort Calhoun Triangular to end the regular season Thursday night.

The Raiders lost set one to the Pioneers 25-14, and dropped set two 25-13.

The Gators won set one 25-15 and set two 25-22.

I thought LVSS played well against Wisner-Pilger.

The Raiders (6-22) battle Arlington (8-17) in the C1-5 Sub-District at Oakland-Craig Monday night.

The Eagles' last match was last Thursday when they defeated Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 3-2 at the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament.

And though a loss, definitely encouraging for the Raiders.

I think Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can definitely get Arlington this time around.

The Eagles beat the Raiders 2-0 on Saturday, October 10th at the Conestoga Triangular as well, but LVSS really pushed Arlington last time out.

The winner gets Oakland-Craig later on that evening.

The Knights have struggled to close out matches lately so if the Raiders can beat the Eagles and keep things close with them you never know.

The Sub-District is honestly Oakland-Craig's to lose though.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder is kind of in rebuild mode, but has to expect to go out there and compete and do well and win.

The Raiders can definitely beat the Eagles, and if they do that I feel it would spark some momentum heading into what would be the match against the Knights.

This is it for LVSS, their season is on the line Monday night.

This is the time of year where anything and everything crazy can happen too so you can never count anyone out this time of year.

Opening serve is set for 5:00 p.m. in Oakland.
