The Indians won set one 25-20 before dropping set two 25-12. The Dragons won set three 25-18 before Winnebago took set four 25-14 and set five 15-9.
Good and encouraging win for the Indians no doubt.
Winnebago (4-6) plays host to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (11-10) Thursday night.
The Bears lost 3-0 at home to Hartington Cedar Catholic Tuesday night.
This figures to be a difficult match for the Indians, but Winnebago has to go out there and play hard and give it all they got.
The win over the Dragons was gutsy and clutch, and the Indians need an even better performance Thursday night.
Winnebago has to up their game a few notches, and show Laurel-Concord-Coleridge what they are made of.
The Bears are a solid team, but the Indians have been pretty solid since coming back from COVID.
Still though this will be Winnebago's toughest match since coming back from coronavirus.
The Indians are going to need to play great Volleyball in order to come away with the win.
Winnebago can definitely do it too as I feel they have a lot of potential.
It's a matter of coming together and playing good, consistent Volleyball like the Indians did Tuesday night.
