Clarkson/Leigh beats Oakland-Craig and BRLD on Day 2 of EHC Tournament

The Clarkson/Leigh Volleyball Team picked two big wins over Oakland-Craig and BRLD on Day Two of the East Husker Conference Tournament at Stanton on Saturday, winning 2-1 over the Knights and 2-0 over the Wolverines.

The Knights beat the Patriots in set one 25-23 before Clarkson/Leigh claimed sets two and three 25-23 and 30-28, respectively.

The Patriots dominated the Wolverines in set one 25-7 before taking set two 25-21.

Great response from Clarkson/Leigh on Saturday after being upset by Pender on Thursday.

The Patriots (20-5) rematch with Oakland-Craig (19-6) at Oakland Tuesday night.

The Knights also defeated BRLD 2-0 in their other match on Saturday.

You know Oakland-Craig will be out for revenge and payback come Tuesday night.

You would think the Knights have a good shot to win this one beings it's hard to beat a great team twice in a few days' time, but the Patriots will try and do just that.

Clarkson/Leigh has a huge challenge on their hands once again Tuesday night.

The Patriots passed their first test against Oakland-Craig, but this match figures to be even tougher.

It's the Knights' final chance to get back on track before the postseason begins.

I'm sure Clarkson/Leigh would love to go into Oakland and spoil the party for the Knights.

It may not happen, but it could.

The Patriots are a really good talented team that gives you 110% all the time.

And so if Clarkson/Leigh is down at any point in the match they're certainly not out of it.

And if the Patriots can get out ahead once again Tuesday night that may be a good thing, but even if they get down a second straight comeback isn't out of the realm of possibility either.
