The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team won 2-1 over Conestoga and lost 2-0 to Arlington at the Conestoga Triangular on Saturday before losing 3-0 to Ashland-Greenwood at the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tuesday night, and 3-2 to Arlington Thursday night.
The Raiders took set one from the Cougars 25-11, lost set two 25-18, but took set three 25-13.
Dream Daugherty had 14 kills and 7 digs while Leah Keithley notched 8 digs and 11 assists.
In the first meeting against the Eagles, Arlington won set one 25-17 and set two 25-22.
Karlie Hansen had 10 digs while Keithley notched 8 assists.
The Bluejays won set one 25-12, and sets two and three 25-14.
In the second meeting with Arlington, LVSS took set two 29-27, lost set two 25-16, won set three 25-17, and then lost set four 31-29, and set five 15-10.
Amazing effort by the Raiders Thursday night, they just came up a little short.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (6-20) rounds out the regular season against Fort Calhoun (11-10) and Wisner-Pilger (13-13) at the Fort Calhoun Triangular Thursday night.
The host Pioneers beat Louisville 2-0 at the Conference Tournament Thursday night.
The Gators beat Stanton 2-0, but lost 2-1 to Howells-Dodge in the East Husker Conference Tournament Thursday night.
The Raiders have time to prepare for these matches having an entire week off to get ready.
Both Fort Calhoun and Wisner-Pilger play matches on Tuesday so that should be an advantage for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.
The Raiders played well against Arlington Thursday night I thought, and that needs to continue for LVSS as we enter the final stage of the season.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to use these last two regular season matches as preparation for the postseason.
The Raiders have to be ready to rock and roll from the get go, and must go out there and perform at a high level once again Thursday night.
