The North Bend Central Volleyball Team lost 3-2 at Malcolm Thursday night.
The Clippers won set one 25-19 before the Tigers took set two 25-17 and set three 25-20. Malcolm won set four 25-11 and set five 15-13.
Tough loss and a hard pill to swallow for NBC.
North Bend Central (11-8) takes on Tekamah-Herman (6-15) on the road Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
Tekamah-Herman was swept 3-0 at Pender Tuesday night.
Tekamah-Herman has played some good, tough Volleyball lately, taking sets from quite a few of the teams they've played.
North Bend Central has to come out fired up and aggressive Thursday night after the way in which they lost at Malcolm.
Losing and not finishing against the Clippers had to be frustrating.
North Bend Central has to come out and play well Thursday night, and take out their frustrations out on Tekamah-Herman.
I think this match has a chance to be close. I think NBC could very well win the match 3-1 or 3-0, but we will see for sure.
You just can't count out Tekamah-Herman give how tough and scrappy they are, especially at home.
North Bend Central really needs this one heading into the BRLD match on Tuesday prior to the start of the East Husker Conference Tournament.
Speaking of the EHC Tournament, North Bend Central and Tekamah-Herman will rematch in the first round at Oakland-Craig next Thursday so NBC has to try and get a leg up on Tekamah-Herman so to speak.
This Thursday's match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on the Bull.
