Great stretch of matches for Howells-Dodge.
The Jaguars (13-3) take on Pender (10-8) in the first round of the Clarkson/Leigh Tournament on Saturday.
The Pendragons won 2-1 over Tri County Northeast and 2-0 over Neligh-Oakdale at the Neligh-Oakdale Triangular Thursday night.
Pender has been on a roll this week, winning all four matches, and figure to be a tougher matchup for Howells-Dodge this time around.
With that said, the Jaguars are on a roll themselves right now and have been doing some big and great things.
I look for Howells-Dodge to do well in this tournament.
The winner likely gets Oakland-Craig, and that would be a very tricky and difficult Semifinal for sure.
The Jaguars need the Baumert transfers to continue to play well.
They have led the team this year and done great things.
Their stellar play needs to continue on Saturday.
The Jaguars should be well rested and ready to go playing a late match and everything.
Howells-Dodge plays at 10:15 against Pender, and that should allow the Jaguars to be fresh and well rested and ready to roll.
