Pretty good play overall from Wisner-Pilger I would say.
The Gators (5-2) host Oakland-Craig (4-2) in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull Thursday night.
The Knights also went 3-2 at the Northeast Nebraska Classic.
This should be a great match between two really good teams.
So much talent on the floor for both schools.
As I mentioned in my Oakland-Craig post, I feel Wisner-Pilger has a bit of an edge being at home.
I think the Knights have beaten tougher competition though.
Regardless, it should be a great match between two really good teams.
It's one of those matches where you hate to see someone lose.
The Gators have to watch out for O-C Sophomore Bailey Helzer.
She can take over a match at any given time.
At the same time, the Knights have to watch out for Jindra, Waterman, Otten, Meyer, McGuire, and others.
I would add Wisner-Pilger also has to watch out for Kennedy Benne.
It's certainly a match of star power Thursday night, and it will be interesting to see who wins.
Every play, every point, every set is crucial and critical.
There's not one point bigger than another in this match.
It should be an exciting one to call and listen to, and I'm sure Kent Aurich will have a dandy and whale of a match to call.
I really feel both teams are the real deal, and that should make for a compelling, thrilling, and entertaining match.
This could be the first of at least two matches between these two teams this season if they would meet in the East Husker Conference Tournament.
First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the Bull.
