Tekamah-Herman drops season opener to BRLD

The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team lost Thursday night's season opener to BRLD, falling 3-0 at home.

The Wolverines won set one 25-22, set two 25-10, and set three 25-16.

Tough loss to start the season for the Tigers.

Tekamah-Herman (0-1) takes part in the Northeast Nebraska Classic Thursday through Saturday.

I'm not for sure who the Tigers play, but you can bet they will give whoever they play their best effort and then some.

I thought Tekamah-Herman did well in set one against BRLD, and if the Tigers can play like that in every set they figure to have a chance to be successful.

I feel like the loss to the Wolverines was just a little bit of a setback that can be overcome.

It was the first match of the season for a team with only 9 girls out.

Tekamah-Herman has had an entire week to prepare and get ready for this tournament so that should really help and be to their advantage.

I look for the Tigers to come out and play well on Thursday, and give whoever they play all they can handle.

I don't think Tekamah-Herman played their best Volleyball Thursday night, and feel their best Volleyball is ahead of them.

I look for the Tigers to come out and play well Thursday night and do what it takes to be successful.

Tekamah-Herman has to play with tremendous heart and pride, and that's exactly what I look for the Tigers to do come Thursday night.

Tekamah-Herman has to come out and be aggressive and smart, but have fun at the same time.

The Tigers have to take the fight to whoever they play on Thursday, and play above themselves in the process.

Tekamah-Herman has to play with a lot of guts, tenacity, toughness, grit, fire, and passion Thursday night.

What the Tigers lack in depth they have to make up for with effort, heart, and hustle.

Tekamah-Herman has exert every ounce of energy in their bodies and have nothing left in the tank after the night is over.

The Tigers have to give it their all in both matches Thursday night, and take it to whoever they play for the entire duration and length of the matches.

Tekamah-Herman has to serve notice to whoever they play that they are a team and force to be reckoned with.
