Tekamah-Herman goes 0-3 at Boone Central Invite; loses at West Point-Beemer
The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team went 0-3 at the Boone Central Invite on Saturday, losing 2-0 to Columbus Lakeview, Crofton, and Boone Central/Newman Grove. The Tigers were also swept 3-0 at West Point-Beemer Tuesday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.
The Cardinals took sets one and two 25-16.
The Warriors won set one 27-25 and set two 25-14.
The Vikings claimed set one 25-14, and set two 25-17.
The Cadets won set one 25-18, set two 25-23, and set three 25-14.
The Tigers have shown the ability to play well in certain sets, but a lack of consistent play has ultimately hurt them I feel.
Tekamah-Herman (1-11) hosts their own Invite on Saturday.
Other teams in the tournament include BRLD, Omaha Roncalli, and Fort Calhoun.
The Wolverines already beat the Tigers while Roncalli is having a down year so far. The Pioneers are having a season a lot like BRLD.
I think Tekamah-Herman can do well in this tournament, but it won't be easy.
The Tigers simply have to step things up to do well.
It has been a tough season for Tekamah-Herman so far this year, but the Tigers have to keep fighting and battling.
The Tigers need something to spark them, someone to step up, or something.
Tekamah-Herman desperately needs a lift and something to go right for them.
The Tigers have to rise up and create their own momentum.
Tekamah-Herman has to find the fight and will from within to get going.
Perhaps this is the tournament that will change the Tigers' fortunes this season.
So far Tekamah-Herman hasn't had the best luck this year, but perhaps that will change on Saturday.
The Tigers have to be positive and must come out ready to play.
Tekamah-Herman has to come out inspired and ready to roll on Saturday.
The Tigers have to give all three opponents their best shot, and show them what they are made of and do everything in their power to win.
Tekamah-Herman has to give it their all, and do everything possible to do well on Saturday.
The Tigers have to come out and play with a lot of heart, passion, pride, toughness, tenacity, fire, and grit.
Tekamah-Herman has to give it all they got and leave it all out on the floor.
The Tigers have to play with a lot of guts to get the glory.
Tekamah-Herman has to exert every ounce of energy in their body and have nothing left in the tank after Saturday's matches.
