Winnebago loses to Fort Calhoun and David City at Fort Calhoun Invitational

The Winnebago Volleyball Team lost 2-0 to David City and Fort Calhoun at the Fort Calhoun Invitational on Saturday.

The Pioneers won set one 25-13 and set two 25-20.

The Scouts were 25-13 and 25-18 winners.

Not the results the Indians were hoping for I'm sure.

Winnebago (1-2) hosts Omaha Christian Academy (2-1) and Walthill (0-0) Thursday night in a Triangular.

The Eagles beat Omaha Nation 3-1 last time out while the Blujays have yet to play a match this season.

I feel these matches are two chances for wins for the Indians.

Winnebago has to come out and play well, hard, and smart from the start, and must be excited about the opportunity to get back out on the court and be successful.

The Indians have to forget about Saturday's struggles and move past them.

Winnebago has to come out anew and fresh Thursday night.

The Indians have had a few days to practice and prepare for this Triangular, and should be ready to go.

Winnebago has to play with lots of pride, and show a lot of fight and might Thursday night.

The Indians have to play with a sense of urgency and purpose knowing they have an opportunity to sweep this Triangular.

Winnebago has to play their tails off and give it their all Thursday night.

The Indians have to pour blood, sweat, and tears into this and play with the heart of a champion.

Winnebago has to have fun and has to want to win as well.

Playing good, fundamental Volleyball is going to be key for the Indians to be successful in this one I feel.

Winnebago has to come out fired up and ready to go Thursday night.

The Indians have to get excited and the hometown crowd has to be excited and jubilant as well.

Everyone has to get fired up and be excited about Winnebago Volleyball.

The Indians have to play nasty and with attitude, toughness, tenacity, grit, fire, passion, and pride.

If Winnebago does all these things then they can definitely be successful and win both matches Thursday night, in my opinion.
