Pender (3-4) battles Clarkson/Leigh (2-2) on the road Thursday night.
The Patriots won 3-1 at home over BRLD Tuesday night.
This should be a good and intriguing match.
Clarkson/Leigh is a tough team, but this young Pendragons squad has shown some promise in the early season.
I wouldn't be surprised if this match went 4 or 5 sets.
Pender is going to need to play great to win, especially being on the road, but it can happen.
The Pendragons have to be mentally and physically tough, and can't back down from the Patriots.
Clarkson/Leigh is a couple sets from being undefeated so they are a quality ball club.
The thing Pender has to do is stay poised and confident throughout the match.
The Pendragons can't afford to lose hope at any point in the match, they have to keep fighting and battling no matter what.
Pender has to come into this match loose and confident and ready to go.
The girls have to have fun and have smiles on their faces.
The Pendragons have to be all about the team and one another, and doing what is best for the team.
Pender has to take the fight to Clarkson/Leigh, and make the Patriots uncomfortable on their home floor.
The Pendragons have to be fundamentally sound, and can't afford to beat themselves.
Pender has to play their hearts out and have a good showing Thursday night.
The Pendragons have to ball out and leave everything they have on the floor.
Pender can't take any plays off, and can't relax on a certain play or at any point in the match, especially if they have a lead.
The team has to have good court awareness and know if balls are going to be in and out, which ties into communication.
The team has to communicate with one another verbally throughout the match.
