Good day of Volleyball for Wisner-Pilger on Saturday. The Gators did a nice job of bouncing back from Thursday's tough losses.
Wisner-Pilger (13-9) takes on Tekamah-Herman (1-21) on the road in High School Volleyball Action on 107.9 the Bull Tuesday night.
Tekamah-Herman lost 3-2 at home to North Bend Central Thursday night.
Tekamah-Herman may only have 1 win, but the Gators definitely can't afford to overlook or take the Tigers lightly.
Wisner-Pilger has had their own consistency problems this year and Tekamah-Herman has come alive as of late.
I think this match has the potential to be close.
The Gators hope it isn't, and look to build off Saturday's outing.
If Wisner-Pilger plays like they did on Saturday then this match could very well be decided in 3 sets, but if the Gators struggle and the Tigers come alive once again then this one could be very interesting.
I don't think anyone expected Tekamah-Herman to give North Bend Central the kind of match they did, but that was one heck of a match.
You can bet Tekamah-Herman will be scrappy and ready to fight, scratch, and claw again Tuesday night.
Wisner-Pilger should expect to get Tekamah-Herman's best shot.
The Gators have to be ready to play, and must execute.
Wegner needs to have another big match for Wisner-Pilger, and Hatterman has to perform well also.
Wisner-Pilger needs to continue to be on top of their game Tuesday night with the East Husker Conference Tournament coming up later this week.
The Gators play BRLD on Thursday at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in the first round of the Conference Tournament.
Tough draw, but if Wisner-Pilger can play the way they did on Saturday then anyone is beatable.
First things first though, the Gators have to go into Tekamah and take care of business against the Tigers.
First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the Bull.
