Oakland-Craig 2-3 in last five matches

The Oakland-Craig Volleyball Team is 2-3 in their last five matches, going 1-2 at the Clarkson/Leigh Invite on Saturday with a 2-0 loss to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, a 2-1 loss to Howells-Dodge, and a 2-1 win over Pender, before splitting the DC West Triangular Tuesday night, losing 2-1 to the host Falcons, and beating West Point-Beemer 2-0.

The Bulldogs won set one 25-23, and set two 25-18.

The Knights won set one against the Jaguars 25-21 before losing set two 25-22 and set three 25-16.

Oakland-Craig dropped the first set against the Pendragons 25-20, but won the second set 25-15 and the third set 25-17.

The Knights defeated the Cadets 25-16 in set one and 25-22 in set two.

DC West won set one 25-17 before Oakland-Craig took set two 25-20. The Falcons prevailed in set three 25-12.

I feel like the Knights are starting to play better and pick things up.

Oakland-Craig (7-14) takes on Pender (5-14) on the road Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Pendragons won 3-2 at home over Tekamah-Herman Tuesday night.

I feel the Knights have a good chance to win this one.

The way Oakland-Craig has been playing lately and the fact Pender had such a hard fought emotional win the other night leads me to believe the Knights are in good shape to win this one.

I wouldn't be surprised if Oakland-Craig won this one in three.

I really like the way this Knights' team is playing right now.

Oakland-Craig has shown flashes of being competitive against good teams, and has even knocked off a couple of good teams this year.

That and the fact the Knights beat Pender on Saturday.

It's never easy to beat a team twice in a season, and the Knights have to be kind of tired at least given how many matches they've played lately, but Oakland-Craig can definitely get the job done, in my opinion.

I feel the Knights can win this match and be a threat in the East Husker Conference Tournament and in the rest of their matches this season.

Oakland-Craig has a really tough schedule upcoming, but the Knights are peaking and playing their best Volleyball at the right time.

Oakland-Craig has to keep improving and must stay the course to be successful.

The Knights are a dangerous team, in my opinion, and I don't know if anyone wants to play them right now.

Oakland-Craig has to put fear in their opponents from here on out, and be a threat to win every single night.

The Knights can definitely make some noise before season's end, and have already started doing so, in my opinion.

Oakland-Craig just has to keep taking things one set and one match at a time.

First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. in Pender and on the Bull Thursday night.
