Logan View/Scribner-Snyder goes 0-2 at Fremont Bergan Triangular
The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team went 0-2 at the Fremont Bergan Triangular Tuesday night, falling 2-0 to the host Knights and 2-1 to Oakland-Craig.
The Raiders won set one over Oakland-Craig 27-25 before the Knights took sets two and three 25-20.
Bergan won set one 25-11 and set two 25-5.
Not the best night of Volleyball for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, who has lost three in a row and four out of their last five.
The Raiders (12-10) take on Oakland-Craig (9-15) in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament at Clarkson/Leigh on Thursday.
Oakland-Craig lost 2-0 to Bergan in their other match on Tuesday.
I think losing to Oakland-Craig the first time around gives LVSS a good chance to win on Thursday.
Reason being the Raiders have now seen the Knights and know what to expect this time around.
It's never easy to beat a team twice within a couple of days, and that's what Oakland-Craig will try and do.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to get back to playing the type of ball they were earlier in the season.
Oakland-Craig and BRLD are respectable teams, but those are teams the Raiders should beat.
Perhaps Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can get some revenge on Thursday.
The Raiders are capable of winning that match and challenging Clarkson/Leigh if they're on top of their game perhaps.
LVSS definitely has their work cut out for them though.
The Raiders have to make the Knights earn their points, and must challenge Oakland-Craig at the net.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to try and slow down Bailey Helzer and Natalia McNeill in particular.
The Raiders are a good and solid team, they just need to get back to playing the type of Volleyball they've been accustomed to so far this season.
I know LVSS has it in them, they just have to believe it.
The Raiders have knocked off some quality teams this season now they just need to go out there and reestablish themselves as a good and dominant team.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to play above themselves and execute at a high level on Thursday.
This match is anyone's ball game, and the Raiders were so close to beating Oakland-Craig Tuesday night.
I look for this match to be another great one, and for it to go 3 sets with LVSS perhaps winning this time.
First serve is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Clarkson/Leigh.
