Tekamah-Herman loses at home to North Bend Central

The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team lost 3-2 at home to North Bend Central Thursday night, dropping set one 25-21, taking set to 25-22, losing set three 25-15, winning set four 25-16, but losing set five 15-11.

Great effort by Tekamah-Herman that came up just short.

The Tigers (1-21) host Wisner-Pilger (13-9) in High School Volleyball Action on 107.9 the Bull Tuesday night.

The Gators went 2-1 at their own October Classic on Saturday, beating Norfolk Catholic and Wynot 2-1, but falling 2-0 to St. Paul.

Wisner-Pilger may have played well on Saturday, but the Gators have been inconsistent this year.

Depending on the type of night Wisner-Pilger has, Tekamah-Herman could win or at least push this match to 5 sets, in my opinion.

I don't know if anyone expected Tekamah-Herman to take North Bend Central to 5, but they did so perhaps Tekamah-Herman is starting to figure some things out.

What a time to pick things up too...right before the East Husker Conference Tournament.

The Tigers take on Howells-Dodge in the first round of the Tournament on Thursday, and who knows, that match could be an upset.

Tekamah-Herman has to be excited about the opportunities in front of them.

The Tigers have absolutely nothing to lose and absolutely everything to gain Tuesday night and Thursday night.

Tekamah-Herman has to play loose and pressure free from here on out, and continue to fight, scrap, and claw like they did Thursday night.

The Tigers have to execute, and play mistake free Volleyball.

If Tekamah-Herman can make Wisner-Pilger earn their points and not give the Gators any free points then they could very well come out on top.

It's going to take a great game on the Tigers' part, but anything can happen.

Tekamah-Herman has to try and limit Jordan Wegner if they can though.

The big thing for the Tigers is just going out there and playing and seeing what happens.

Tekamah-Herman has to go out there and control their effort and execution, and let the rest take care of itself.

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the Bull.
