Tekamah-Herman 0-4 in last four matches

The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team went 0-3 at the Raymond Central Invite on Saturday, losing 2-0 to Fairbury and Nebraska City, and 2-1 to Crete, before falling 3-2 at Pender Tuesday night.

The Jeffs knocked off the Tigers 25-8 in set one and 25-16 in set two.

Tekamah-Herman won set one over the Cardinals 25-19 before Crete won set two 25-23 and set three 25-21.

The Tigers won set one 25-23 before the Pendragons claimed set two 25-22 and set three 25-15. Tekamah-Herman won set four 25-19 before Pender took set five 15-5.

I thought the Tigers were very competitive against the Cardinals and Pendragons.

Tekamah-Herman (1-20) hosts North Bend Central (6-10) Thursday night.

NBC lost 3-1 at Malcolm Thursday night.

Both schools are having seasons they aren't accustomed to, and I think this could be a pretty good match.

I fully expect Tekamah-Herman to compete hard and play well.

Tekamah-Herman has to bring their best and "A" game Thursday night.

The rest of the season is shaping up to be a pretty difficult challenge for Tekamah-Herman so they have to do what they can to play well in and win this match.

Outside of a potential match in the East Husker Conference Tournament and Sub-Districts this might be Tekamah-Herman's most winnable match remaining.

Tekamah-Herman has had a tough, long year, but they keep fighting and have proven to be resilient.

I fully expect Tekamah-Herman to come out and play tough and hard Thursday night.

Tekamah-Herman has to make the most of this match and perform at a high level.

I look for Tekamah-Herman to at least take a set if not force the match into a fifth set.

Tekamah-Herman has to play the way they did against Crete and Pender.

I realize those two schools have had their own struggles this year, but the Cardinals are Class B and the Pendragons are better than their record shows, in my opinion.

I really think Tekamah-Herman played well in those matches given their struggles this year.

Upsets can and do happen all the time, and it wouldn't shock me if Tekamah-Herman gave North Bend Central a run for their money.

NBC has started to play good Volleyball would no doubt like to make a run, but you can bet Tekamah-Herman will want to spoil the party.

Anything can happen in the game of Volleyball on any given night, and Tekamah-Herman has to play hard and smart, and be optimistic.

Tekamah-Herman has to play with tremendous heart, pride, passion, toughness, grit, and moxie in order to do well.
