Tekamah-Herman beats Madison
The Tekamah-Herman Tigers swept Madison on Tuesday, winning 3-0 at home.
Tekamah-Herman won set one 25-15, set two 25-14, and set three 25-12.
The Tigers did what they had to do to take care of business in their lone match last week. It was a good week of volleyball for Tekamah-Herman.
The Tigers (9-4) battle Stanton (16-1) and Oakland-Craig (10-3) on Tuesday at the Stanton Triangular.
Oakland-Craig went 2-2 last week, losing 3-1 at home to North Bend Central on Tuesday, beating Scribner-Snyder and Clarkson/Leigh 2-0 on Saturday at the Scribner-Snyder Tourney, but losing 2-1 to Bancroft-Rosalie, also on Saturday.
The Mustangs beat Pender and Wisner-Pilger 2-0 on Tuesday of last week.
Tekamah-Herman has two very difficult matches on Tuesday. The Tigers will no doubt get challenged by both teams.
Tekamah-Herman has to be on top of their game in order to compete with and beat Stanton and Oakland-Craig.
The Mustangs have been on fire pretty much all season, and the Knights have had a nice season so far.
If there was ever a time when Oakland-Craig has struggled it was last week.
The Knights didn't play as well last week compared to the rest of the season, in my opinion.
The Tigers may be catching Oakland-Craig at a good time.
I look for Tekamah-Herman to go 1-1 in this triangular. The Tigers could go 0-2 if they don't play well against the Knights. It will be awfully difficult for Tekamah-Herman to down Stanton, but you never know. The Tigers are a solid ball club.
