Logan View goes 0-3 at Logan View Invite

The Logan View Raiders really struggled last week, going 0-3 at their own invite on Saturday.

Logan View lost 2-0 to Platteview, Homer, and Yutan.

The Raiders fell in set one to the Chieftains 25-12, and dropped set two 25-17.

Logan View lost set one to the Knights 25-22, and fell in set two 25-20.

The Raiders lost to the Trojans in set one 25-15, and lost set two 25-16.

It wasn't a good weekend of volleyball for Logan View. The Raiders competed with Homer, but otherwise Logan View had a rough go of things.

The Raiders (0-11) host West Point-Beemer (5-3) and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (7-5) on Tuesday in a home triangular.

The Cadets knocked off Tekamah-Herman 3-2 at home on Tuesday before winning 3-0 at Madison on Thursday. West Point-Beemer went 1-2 at the Stanton Invitational on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Arlington and 2-0 to Hartington Cedar Catholic, but beating Clarkson/Leigh 2-0.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family went 5-0 last week, picking up wins over High Plains, Clarkson/Leigh, Twin Loup, CWC, and Riverside.

Needless to say Logan View has their work cut out for them.

The Raiders are playing these two teams at a time when they are playing some of their best volleyball. The Cadets are coming off a 3-2 week while Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family went perfect last week.

It's going to be very difficult for Logan View to win given how they are playing right now.

That's not to say the Raiders can't get things headed in the right direction though.

This team has done some good things at certain times this year, they just haven't been consistent enough throughout an entire match to win.

Logan View is beyond moral victories at this point. They really don't do any good anymore.

The Raiders have to put together a complete match to pick up a win. Logan View has to take things one set and one point at a time. The Raiders can't afford to beat themselves.

Logan View has to keep their heads up and keep believing. I think things can eventually come together for this team if they keep fighting and persevering.

One of these nights the Raiders are going to have things go their way or so you would think.

We'll see what sort of progress Logan View makes on Tuesday.

The Raiders have a very winnable match at Omaha Brownell-Talbot on Thursday before the Louisville Invite on Saturday.

This is a big week of volleyball for Logan View.
