Tekamah-Herman 3-2 in last five matches

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers went 3-2 last week, beating Twin River and Logan View 2-0 at the Logan View Triangular last Tuesday before going 1-2 at the Boone Central/Newman Grove Invitational on Saturday. Tekamah-Herman beat O'Neill 2-0, but lost 2-0 to Columbus Lakeview and 2-1 to Boone Central/Newman Grove.

Tekamah-Herman downed the Raiders in set one 25-17, and won set two 25-16.

The Tigers defeated the Titans 25-19 in set one, and 25-14 in set two.

The Vikings defeated Tekamah-Herman 25-21 in set one, and 25-16 in set two.

The Tigers took set one from the Cardinals 26-24, but Boone Central/Newman Grove came back to win set two 25-23, and set three 28-26.

Tekamah-Herman defeated O'Neill 25-20 in the first set, and 25-16 in the second set.

The Tigers played lights out volleyball last Tuesday, but struggled on Saturday. I'm sort of surprised Tekamah-Herman didn't do better on Saturday, but the results just go to show that anyone can beat anyone in any given match.

The Tigers (6-2) look to get back on the winning track Tuesday when they visit West Point-Beemer (2-1).

The Cadets fell 3-0 to Wisner-Pilger on the road last Tuesday before beating Twin River 3-0 at home on Thursday.

West Point-Beemer appears to have found their stride, and Tekamah-Herman has to be very wary of that.

The Tigers were hit with some adversity on Saturday, and did what they could to bounce back.

Tekamah-Herman could very well be hit with more adversity on Tuesday so it will be interesting to see how the Tigers respond.

Tekamah-Herman is a couple of points away from being 7-1. The Boone Central/Newman Grove loss was tough, and a little bit surprising to me.

This match with the Cadets is another one of those matches where it's on the opponent's home floor.

How do the Tigers handle the home crowd and everything that goes with playing on the road? How they handle it could be a big factor into whether they win or lose.

It will be interesting to see if Tekamah-Herman can prevail on Tuesday. It's not going to be easy sledding for the Tigers, that's for sure. Tekamah-Herman is going to have to earn this win should they get it.
