Bancroft-Rosalie finishes week 3-1
The Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers played at a very high level last week, defeating Oakland-Craig and Clarkson-Leigh 2-1, and Elkhorn Valley 2-0 at the Scribner-Snyder Tourney on Saturday. Bancroft-Rosalie lost 3-2 at Homer on Tuesday.
The Panthers lost set one to Homer 25-19. Bancroft-Rosalie rebounded to win the next two sets 25-19 and 25-21. The Knights won sets four and five 27-25 and 18-16.
The Panthers beat the Falcons 25-22 in set one, and 25-10 in set two.
Bancroft-Rosalie took sets one and three from the Patriots 26-24 and 25-7, losing the middle set 25-18.
The Panthers won set one over Oakland-Craig 25-21, dropped set two 25-11, but won set three 25-20.
Bancroft-Rosalie played very good volleyball last week. I think the Panthers are starting to turn the corner and some heads. Bancroft-Rosalie is on a hot streak right now.
The Panthers (10-9) host Cedar Bluffs (12-3) on Tuesday.
The Wildcats lost 3-1 at Fremont Bergan on Thursday after beating Weeping Water 3-0 last Tuesday.
This is a humongous match for Bancroft-Rosalie.
The Panthers are playing by far their best volleyball of the season right now, and are getting a very good team to come to their house.
Bancroft-Rosalie has to be ready to rock and roll from the get go. I'm sure the Panthers know by now what's expected of them, and I look for Bancroft-Rosalie to go out there and compete at a high level.
This is the Panthers' lone match this week so Bancroft-Rosalie can really focus in on this one match.
The Panthers have to put their heart and soul into this match. Bancroft-Rosalie has to play with physical and mental toughness, tenacity, and grit.
It all has to come together for Bancroft-Rosalie on Tuesday. The Panthers have to rise up and play well.
This would be an absolute gigantic win for Bancroft-Rosalie. The biggest thing for the Panthers is to remain hungry. Bancroft-Rosalie can't be satisfied by what took place over the weekend. The Panthers have to want more.
