Tekamah-Herman 3-1 in last four matches
The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball team has continued their winning ways as of late, going 2-1 at the Boone Central Invite on Saturday and topping West Point-Beemer on the road Tuesday night.
The Tigers lost 2-0 to Ord, but beat the host Cardinals and Crofton 2-0 on Saturday, and then downed the Cadets 3-2.
Tekamah-Herman took set one from Boone Central/Newman Grove 25-20, and won set two 25-15.
The Tigers downed the Warriors 25-20 in the first set, and 25-19 in the second set.
The Chanticleers earned a 26-24 win in set one, and grabbed set two 25-16.
The Tigers took set one from the Cadets 25-13. West Point-Beemer won set two 25-23 before Tekamah-Herman claimed set three 25-15. The Cadets took set four 25-18, but the Tigers prevailed with a 15-8 win in set five.
Tekamah-Herman played really well over the weekend and on Tuesday I would say. The Tigers probably let the Ord match get away from them in the second set, but other than that Tekamah-Herman should be feeling very good about themselves so far this year.
The Tigers (8-3) host the Tekamah-Herman Tourney on Saturday.
I'm not sure who's all in this tournament and who Tekamah-Herman plays first, but the Tigers should have a really good chance to be successful given how they've played and performed so far this season.
Tekamah-Herman has something special going here, and needs to keep playing well and improving.
The Tigers can't be complacent or satisfied with what they have done so far this year though...they have to keep pressing forward and want more.
Tekamah-Herman has been very solid and consistent this year, and that trend has to continue for the Tigers to keep winning.
The sky is the limit for Tekamah-Herman as far as I'm concerned, and the Tigers are having a magnificent season thus far.
Tekamah-Herman doesn't need to change much if anything. Just continue to be excited to take the court and be prepared mentally as well as physically for any challenge thrown their way.
The Tigers have only beaten one team with a record above .500, but Tekamah-Herman will get their shot at the likes of North Bend Central, Stanton, Howells-Dodge, and Fremont Bergan.
We'll find out if Tekamah-Herman is an elite or just a good, solid team by how they do in those matches, in my opinion.
With that said, the Tigers have had a lot of success this year so far, and it's been nice to see Tekamah-Herman do so well.
The Tigers can't let up now though. Tekamah-Herman has to come too far and worked to hard to not continue to have a great season.
The Tigers have to keep battling and fighting hard in practice prior to Saturday's Tournament.
This past Saturday was a very respectable day of Volleyball for Tekamah-Herman, and I think this coming Saturday will be as well.
The Tigers just need to keep doing what they've been doing, and they will be just fine.
