Oakland-Craig winless in last three matches
The Oakland-Craig Volleyball team is 0-3 in their last three matches, losing 3-1 at Scribner-Snyder last Thursday night before falling 2-0 to BRLD and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family at their own Triangular Tuesday night.
The Trojans took set one 25-21 from the Knights. Oakland-Craig won set two 25-22 before Scribner-Snyder earned a 25-21 set three win, and took set four 25-17.
The Wolverines won set one 25-16 and set two 25-23.
The Bulldogs took the first set 25-11, and the second set 25-12.
It has been a really slow start to the season for the Knights. Oakland-Craig definitely needs to pick things up.
The Knights (1-7) host North Bend Central (11-0) Tuesday night.
The Tigers swept Wisner-Pilger 3-0 at home this past Tuesday night.
Competing with let alone beating North Bend Central may seem like a very tall task, but this group of Knights has to be resilient and defiant.
Oakland-Craig has to come ready to play, and can't back down from the Tigers whatsoever.
Going up against the likes of Kristin Lux and Brooke Fredrickson may seem daunting, but the Knights' competitive spirit has to come out and allow this team to succeed.
Oakland-Craig has to come into this match thinking they can win, and must dream about a win up until and throughout the match.
The Knights also have to view this match as one they can use to get better for the rest of the season.
Even if Oakland-Craig doesn't win, if they can at least compete well, they should have a chance to beat Arlington and GACC at the GACC Tournament next Thursday.
The Knights need to have an upbeat and positive attitude heading into this match because negativity is not going to get them anywhere.
Oakland-Craig has to keep fighting, working hard, and improving. The Knights cannot give up on this season. Not ever.
Oakland-Craig has to be scrappy, and must play hard until the very end no matter what.
The Knights have to play with the Heart of a Champion and raise their level of play Tuesday night.
Oakland-Craig has come close to winning a few more matches this year so the Knights have to keep up hope the best they can.
I'm sure it's tough not having Dacey Nelson out there, but Oakland-Craig has to want to do well for her, and have a season that makes everyone proud.
So far the Knights are struggling, but that's not to say they can't turn things around and get the job done.
Oakland-Craig just has to keep battling and persevering, and overcome their current struggles.
This program has experienced success in the recent past, and so there's no reason to think the Knights can't get things turned around and back on track this year.
All it takes is a lot of hustle, heart, pride, passion, grit, might, hard work, and determination.
