Logan View goes 0-3 at East Husker Conference Tournament

The Logan View Volleyball Team went 0-3 at the East Husker Conference Tournament last week, losing 2-0 to Wisner-Pilger and Pender at Wisner-Pilger Thursday night, and 2-0 to Oakland-Craig at home on Saturday.

The Gators downed the Raiders 25-20 in set one, and 25-14 in set two.

The Pendragons upended Logan View 26-24 in the first set, and 25-20 in the second set.

The Knights topped the Raiders 25-18 in set one, and 25-19 in set two.

Logan View definitely competed well on Thursday, but I think not playing a match on Saturday prior to the Oakland-Craig match definitely hurt the Raiders.

Logan View (5-21) takes part in the Scribner-Snyder Triangular Thursday night against Scribner-Snyder (10-13) and Wisner-Pilger (20-8).

The Gators won 3-0 at Twin River Tuesday night while the Trojans lost 2-0 to Tekamah-Herman and Fremont Bergan at the Bergan Triangular Tuesday night.

This is a Pink Out Event, and a big deal for all involved.

I think the Raiders have a chance to be competitive in both matches and win the Scribner-Snyder match, but this night is about so much more than just the game of Volleyball.

It's the Fight Against Breast Cancer, and a big deal for all these teams participating in this Triangular.

Hopefully fans will fill the gym and support this great cause because I know a lot of hard work goes into putting on an event like this.

I think this event will only bring Logan View, Scribner-Snyder, and Wisner-Pilger closer together, but especially the Trojans and Raiders since they co-op in Basketball.

These teams are all competitors on the court sure, but I'm sure some if not all are friends off the court.

When I say friends I just mean friendly towards one another with everyone playing the sport of Volleyball.

This Triangular is about so much more than just the game of Volleyball, and I hope there will be a good turnout Thursday night.

The match will be aired on 107.9 the Bull, and it's great to listen to us if you can't make it to the matches, but you won't get the full experience by not attending I would say.

I encourage each and every one of you viewing this blog to go out and support this great cause if at all possible.

Go out and support the fight against Breast Cancer, and wear pink.

I know Scribner-Snyder is wearing pink uniforms Thursday night so it will be interesting to see if Logan View and Wisner-Pilger do as well.

The ultimate goal of any triangular is to win, but this triangular and this night isn't all about winning, in my opinion.

There's so much more to sports and the game of Volleyball than just winning, and I think this Triangular will prove and show just that.

Catch all the action on 107.9 the Bull beginning at 5:30.
