The Winnebago Volleyball Team lost 2-0 to Fort Calhoun and Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at the Fort Calhoun Invitational on Saturday before falling 3-0 at Hartington-Newcastle Tuesday night.
The Pioneers defeated the Indians 25-5 in set one and 25-8 in set two.
The Raiders beat Winnebago 25-19 in set one and 25-9 in set two.
The Wildcats downed the Indians 25-10 in set one, 25-13 in set two, and 25-19 in set three.
Tough stretch of matches for Winnebago, but all the Indians can do is keep fighting and keep their heads held high.
Winnebago (0-4) takes on Omaha Christian Academy (3-1) and Walthill (1-2) at the Walthill Triangular Thursday night.
The Eagles won 3-0 at Omaha Nation Tuesday night while the Blujays lost 3-0 at Homer last Tuesday night.
I feel like the Indians have a chance to win and sweep this Triangular.
Winnebago has struggled so far this year, but is playing teams they can definitely beat.
The Indians have to work and play hard though, and cannot let up at any point throughout either match.
Winnebago has to be tough and relentless both physically and mentally.
The Indians have to go out there and play their tails off, and put forth a great effort come Thursday night.
Winnebago has to grow and improve and continue to get better.
The Indians have to fight very hard against both teams and do their best to win.
Winnebago could really use a couple of wins, and probably needs them quite honestly.
We'll see what the Indians can do and if they can win come Thursday night.
