Tri County Northeast falls to Randolph and Osmond in Randolph Triangular

The Tri County Northeast Volleyball Team lost 2-1 to Randolph and 2-0 to Osmond at the Randolph Triangular Thursday night.

The Cardinals won set one 25-14, and set three 25-21 after the Wolfpack took set two 25-20.

Alli Jackson had 11 kills while Jordyn Carr totaled 7 kills and 11 digs. Getsemane Ferrusca added 8 digs while Carly Dickens notched 17 assists.

The Tigers won set one 29-27 and set two 25-20.

Jackson had 16 kills while Carr registered 7 kills and 9 digs. Dickens compiled 24 assists.

Solid effort from the Wolfpack, they just came up short.

Tri County Northeast (2-5) plays host to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (4-5) Tuesday night.

The Bears went 1-2 on Day Two of the Wakefield Invite on Saturday, beating Wakefield 2-1, but losing 2-1 to BRLD and Pierce.

The Bears are going to be a tough team to beat come Tuesday night.

Jackson and Carr need to have big matches once again if the Wolfpack hopes to win.

Tri County Northeast needs contributions across the board and more players to get involved to be successful.

This is a new co-op, but the Wolfpack is definitely going through a little bit of growing pains right now you could say.

It seems like Tri County Northeast got off to a good start this year, but has stumbled in their last four matches.

Teams go through periods of struggle, it's quite common with every team every year, but the Wolfpack has to find a way to get things turned around Tuesday night.

Perhaps a 9-day layoff will allow Tri County Northeast to get back on track next Thursday against BRLD and Winnebago at their home triangular, but the Wolfpack would love to get back on track against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge no doubt.

Tri County Northeast can definitely do it to they just need everyone to play at a high level and raise their level of play.
