The Clarkson/Leigh Volleyball Team continues to roll as the Patriots won 3-1 at BRLD Tuesday night.
The Patriots won set one 25-19 and set two 25-22, and then closed out the match with a 25-18 set four win after losing set three 25-23.
Cassidy Hoffman had 15 kills while Kayden Schumacher totaled 13 kills and 17 digs. Chloe Hanel added 9 kills 11 digs. Alissa Kasik totaled 28 digs while Kennedy Settje registered 13. Bailey Lemburg posted 11 while Makenna Held had 9 digs and 42 assists.
Complete team effort and win for the Patriots Tuesday night.
Clarkson/Leigh (4-0) takes on Pender (3-5) on the road Thursday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Pendragons lost 2-0 to Howells-Dodge, but beat Tri County Northeast 2-0 at their home Triangular Tuesday night.
Pender is an improved team, and the Patriots have to come out ready to play.
Clarkson/Leigh can't afford to have a letdown and has to play the way they did Tuesday night.
If the Patriots play the way they did against the Wolverines then they are going to be very tough and difficult to beat.
Clarkson/Leigh figures to be well rested too whereas the Pendragons have played a lot of matches in the last week.
It will be interesting to see what happens, but I think the Patriots have a chance to win this one 3-0 or maybe 3-1.
First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the Bull.
