The West Point-Beemer Volleyball Team swept Madison 3-0 at home last Thursday night before beating Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 2-0 and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 2-1 at the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family Triangular Tuesday night. The Cadets then swept North Bend Central 3-0 at home this past Thursday night.

The Cadets downed the Dragons 25-5, 25-11, and 25-13.

Jadyn Meiergerd and Katie Rainforth each had 8 kills while Reece Snodgrass posted 22 assists.

West Point-Beemer defeated the Raiders 25-17 in set one and 25-20 in set two.

Rachel Groth had 11 kills while Meiergerd totaled 7. Brooklyn Weddle added 12 digs while Snodgrass compiled 22 assists.

The Cadets knocked off the Bulldogs 25-18 in set one and 25-20 in set three after losing set two 25-20.

Sidney Swanson had 13 kills and 8 digs while Groth notched 9 kills. Meiergerd contributed 7 kills and 7 digs with Weddle amassing 15 digs. Snodgrass chipped in 11 digs and dished out 25 assists while Rainforth registered 11 digs.

West Point-Beemer won set one 25-17, set two 25-23, and set three 25-19 over the Tigers.

Swanson led the way with 15 kills and 9 digs while Meiergerd had 11 kills. Groth added 7 kills while Weddle chipped in 16 digs. Snodgrass registered 33 assists.

The Cadets continue to have a season to remember.

West Point-Beemer (13-3) takes part in the Elkhorn Valley Tournament in Tilden on Saturday.

The Cadets will face Battle Creek at 9:00 a.m., Fremont Bergan at noon, Osmond at 1:00 p.m., and have a crossover game at either 3:00 or 4:00 p.m.

The Bravettes come in at 14-1 on the season, and that should be a heck of a match right off the bat.

The Knights are very good too, and so this tournament will really challenge West Point-Beemer I feel.

Battle Creek being so close to Tilden is an advantage for the Bravettes I feel.

The Cadets have won 8 in a row and are rolling right now though.

West Point-Beemer is definitely going to be challenged in this Tournament, but I feel the Cadets will be up to and ready for the challenge.

It will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday.

It should be a great tournament.

St. Paul is in the other pool and they are undefeated so it will be interesting to see if they make the Championship and/or if West Point-Beemer plays them.
