Oakland-Craig beats GACC in five sets; wins Tekamah-Herman Triangular

The Oakland-Craig Volleyball Team won 3-2 at GACC Thursday night before defeating Stanton 2-0 and Tekamah-Herman 2-1 at the Tekamah-Herman Triangular Tuesday night.

The Bluejays won set one 25-16 and set two 25-22 before the Knights took set three 25-18, set four 25-14, and set five 15-9.

Bailey Helzer poured in 30 kills and 26 digs while Ashten Rennerfeldt totaled 12 kills and 15 digs. Josie Richards added 14 digs and 49 assists while Shea Johnson, Maycie Johnson, and Laryn Johnson notched 12, 11, and 9 digs, respectively.

Oakland-Craig topped the Mustangs 25-18 in set one and 25-16 in set two.

The Tigers won set one 25-17 before the Knights won sets two and three 25-17.

What a great comeback on Thursday by Oakland-Craig, who continues to roll.

The Knights (13-3) host BRLD (14-8) Thursday night.

The Wolverines lost 2-1 to Wisner-Pilger and 2-0 to Howells-Dodge at the Wisner-Pilger Double Triangular Tuesday night.

Two tough losses to good teams, but Oakland-Craig is even better than the Gators and Jaguars.

So I would say BRLD has a big challenge on their hands come Thursday night.

That's welcoming news for the Knights, who are 7-2 in their last 9 matches.

Oakland-Craig has been a model for consistency this entire season, and has done some really nice things.

The Knights have to keep it up and must keep fighting and working to improve and get better each and everyday.

Oakland-Craig has a lot of big goals on their mind for how they want this season to wind up I'm sure so it's important for the Knights to keep winning.

I think Oakland-Craig showed they can win any match from any deficit with their win over GACC Thursday night.

That was an incredible comeback for the Knights, who are having a dream season, and look to continue that dream season come Thursday night against the Wolverines.
