The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team went 0-5 at the Northeast Nebraska Classic last week, falling 2-0 to West Point-Beemer and Wayne at Pender last Thursday night before losing 2-0 to Fremont Bergan and Wisner-Pilger, and 2-1 to Pender. The Tigers then won 2-0 over Twin River and 2-1 over Cedar Bluffs at their home Triangular Tuesday night.
Tekamah-Herman fell 25-17 in sets one and two to the Cadets.
Aubrynn Sheets had 12 digs while Elena Jetensky notched 8.
The Blue Devils downed the Tigers 25-18 in set one and 25-16 in set two.
Tekamah-Herman fell 25-16 in set one to the Knights, and lost set two 25-23.
The Gators won set one 25-13 and set two 25-12.
The Pendragons won set one 25-18 before the Tigers claimed set two 25-22 only to lose set three 25-20.
Tekamah-Herman topped the Titans 25-11 in set one and 25-12 in set two.
The Tigers grabbed set one from the Wildcats 25-21, and won set three 25-18 after losing set two 25-23.
Two solid wins for Tekamah-Herman Tuesday night.
The Tigers (2-6) take part in the Boone Central Invite on Saturday.
Tekamah-Herman's first match of the day is at 10:15 a.m. against Ord (4-3).
The Chanticleers are a solid team, and won't be easy for the Tigers to beat.
I look for Tekamah-Herman to compete well in this tournament.
I think the Tigers have an opportunity to pick up a win or two in it.
Tekamah-Herman has to go out there and play hard and come ready to play.
The Tigers have to play smart and with heart and have to take pride in their play.
Tekamah-Herman has to be positive and has to go out there and give it their all on Saturday.
The Tigers have to execute in all facets of the game and not beat themselves.
Tekamah-Herman has to make every opponent earn their points and be very tough mentally and physically.
The Tigers have to go out there and leave it all out on the court and give it all they got.
