Tri County Northeast drops home match to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge

The Tri County Northeast Volleyball Team fell 3-1 at home to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge last Tuesday night.

The Bears won set one 25-21 and set two 25-22 before the Wolfpack took set three 25-22. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge closed out the match with a 25-22 set four win.

Alli Jackson had 17 kills and 11 digs while Jordyn Carr totaled 15 kills and 12 digs. Getsemane Ferrusca totaled 16 digs while Carly Dickens recorded 34 assists.

Solid effort from Tri County Northeast Tuesday night, it just wasn't enough.

The Wolfpack (2-6) takes on BRLD (12-6) Thursday night.

The Wolverines beat Ponca 3-1 at home Tuesday night.

Tri County Northeast only fell 2-1 to the Indians so we'll see what the Wolfpack does come Thursday night.

I feel like Tri County Northeast started the season off strong, but has struggled ever since.

The Wolfpack needs to raise their level of play and get things back on track.

Tri County Northeast is getting big contributions across the board from everyone, but it just hasn't yielded many wins as of late.

I know COVID-19 has really complicated things, but the Wolfpack has to continue to fight and battle and get better.

I feel like Tri County Northeast is a good, solid team too, they just need something to spark a run.

The schedule has its challenges the rest of the way, but the Wolfpack can still win some matches and do some damage this season yet.

Winnebago has cancelled all of their matches through October 1st due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is too bad for Tri County Northeast because that could of been another win for the Wolfpack on Thursday.

Instead the Indians will not be taking part in the Triangular and it will just be BRLD.

The Wolfpack has to make the most of it, and must go out there and give things their best shot Thursday night.
