BRLD 2-2 in last four matches

The BRLD Volleyball Team won 3-0 at Tri County Northeast Thursday night before defeating Omaha Nation 3-0 on the road Monday night. The Wolverines then lost 2-1 to Wisner-Pilger and 2-0 to Howells-Dodge at the Wisner-Pilger Double Triangular Tuesday night.

The Wolverines took sets one and two from the Wolfpack 25-19, and won set three 26-24.

Caragan Tietz had 10 kills and 17 digs while Aubrey Berg had 14 digs. Brooklyn Nolting added 10 digs and 7 assists.

BRLD crushed the Chiefs 25-7 in set one, 25-8 in set two, and 25-10 in set three.

Kinlee Bacon had 8 ace serves.

The Jaguars downed the Wolverines 25-18 in set one, and 25-12 in set two.

BRLD won set one over the Gators 26-24 before losing set two 26-24 and set three 25-20.

Some dominant play and wins for the Wolverines, and some tough defeats.

BRLD (14-8) takes on Oakland-Craig (13-3) on the road Thursday night.

The Knights won 2-1 over Tekamah-Herman and 2-0 over Stanton at the Tekamah-Herman Triangular Tuesday night.

Oakland-Craig is a very good and tough team, led by the likes of Bailey Helzer and others.

The Wolverines are going to need to be on their game to have a chance in this one.

I think this match ultimately hinges on which BRLD team shows up.

If BRLD plays the way they did on Thursday and Monday they figure to have a chance in this one.

But if the Wolverines have a match like they did against the Jaguars, and don't bring their best, then it could be another tough night.

I think BRLD is still trying to find consistency in their play.

I feel like the Wolverines have done some nice things this year, but have been a little inconsistent at times.

So BRLD has to find a way to be consistent on a nightly basis, and I feel if they can do that it will make all the difference.
