Tekamah-Herman goes 0-2 at own Invite; beats Madison

The Tekamah-Herman Volleyball Team lost 2-1 to BRLD and 2-0 Omaha Roncalli at their own Invite on Saturday before sweeping Madison 3-0 on the road Tuesday night.

The Tigers took set one from the Wolverines 25-20 before losing set two 25-18 and set three 25-13.

The Crimson Pride defeated Tekamah-Herman 25-18 in set one and 25-20 in set two.

The Tigers downed the Dragons 25-14 in set one, and 25-16 in sets two and three.

I thought Tekamah-Herman competed very well in all three matches.

The Tigers (4-11) take on Stanton (4-13) and Oakland-Craig (10-3) at their home Triangular Tuesday night.

The Mustangs lost 2-0 to Wisner-Pilger and 2-1 to Pender at their Home Triangular this past Tuesday night.

The Knights won 3-2 at GACC Thursday night.

I fully expect Tekamah-Herman to come out ready to go Tuesday night.

I think the Tigers can beat Stanton and compete well against Oakland-Craig.

The Knights are an exceptionally talented team, and will be tough to beat, but Tekamah-Herman can't back down from them or the Mustangs for that matter.

The Tigers are improving and getting better, and have to go out there and slug with both teams Tuesday night.

Tekamah-Herman has to play with a chip on their shoulder as well.

The Tigers have to continue to be scrappy and gritty, and must go out there and fight and claw and earn their points.

This is a big opportunity for Tekamah-Herman so the Tigers have to go out there and do well and not let the opportunity go by the wayside.

Tekamah-Herman has to look at this Triangular as an opportunity to succeed, improve, do well, and get better.
