Tekamah-Herman's season ends in Sub District Final loss

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers made a strong push in the postseason, but came up short of reaching a district final and ultimately state, falling 3-1 to Arlington in the C1-6 Sub District Final at Fremont Middle School last Monday night. Tekamah-Herman defeated Fort Calhoun 3-1 prior to playing the Eagles.

The Pioneers won set one 25-20. The Tigers took set two 27-25, set three 25-19, and set four 25-11.

Tekamah-Herman won set one over Arlington 25-21. The Eagles won sets two, three, and four 25-15, 25-18, and 27-25.

The Tigers had a good postseason showing. Tekamah-Herman nearly took Arlington to a 5th set.

Tekamah-Herman ends the year at 17-14.

It was a successful season for the Tigers by many means.

Tekamah-Herman started and finished the season strong.

I think the Tigers maximized their potential in many ways. I think Tekamah-Herman probably got the most out of themselves this season.

The Tigers lose Allie Snow, Sammi Surber, and Katheryn Gregerson to graduation.

These three meant a lot to Tekamah-Herman Volleyball this year, and without them, the Tigers would not have been as successful, in my opinion.

This year's senior class laid a foundation for success that other teams should follow in the future.

Tekamah-Herman has to work their tails off in the weight room and on the court this offseason if they want to get better and have an even better season next year.

It's going to take a lot of hard work for the Tigers to get to the top, but Tekamah-Herman is definitely capable of taking things to the next level in 2016.

This was a good year for the Tigers, and Tekamah-Herman should be proud of themselves for the way they fought all season long.

At the same time there's a lot of room for growth and improvement so the Tigers have to remain hungry, determined, and focused in the offseason.
