Logan View's season ends in loss to Arlington

Logan View saw their season come to an end last Monday as the Raiders lost 3-0 to Arlington in the C1-6 Sub District at Fremont Middle School.

The Eagles won set one 25-11, set two 25-13, and set three 25-7.

It was a difficult ending to a difficult season for Logan View. The Raiders just didn't have any spark or magic in them in the postseason and throughout the regular season for that matter.

It was a tough season for Logan View, who finished the 2015 campaign 3-30.

Logan View had a tough time finding their way this season, but did find success against Omaha Brownell-Talbot and Madison.

Logan View defeated Omaha Brownell-Talbot twice, and took care of the Dragons in the East Husker Conference Tournament.

There were certainly a couple of bright spots this year for the Raiders, but there's a lot of room for this team to grow and improve before the start of next season.

Logan View has to work hard in the weight room and on the court in the offseason. The Raiders have to look forward to waking up everyday and getting after things.

The returning players and newcomers have to be excited about playing the game of volleyball, and that has to show in their work everyday until the start of next season.

Next year's team has to want to get better in the offseason. Logan View cannot be satisfied with where they are at whatsoever. The Raiders have to dedicate themselves to improvement in the offseason.

It will be interesting to see if Logan View is any better next season. The Raiders had a tough time this year, but next year is a new year and anything can happen.

Logan View has to play optimistic volleyball in their summer league matches. If the Raiders can find success in those it may translate to success in the actual season.

It's important for every player to attend team camps, summer leagues, summer workouts, and open gyms as much as possible.
